FREE Network project partners in a Cluster meeting in El Salvador

Last 2nd October the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), which manages different EU education programmes on behalf of the European Commission, organised a cluster meeting for all Salvadoran Higher Education Institution partners of selected Capacity Building for Higher Education (CBHE) projects. Representatives from Universidad Tecnológica de El Salvador (UTEC) and Universidad de El Salvador (UES) attended the meeting on behalf of the FREE Network project coordinated by the University of Alicante.

The main aim of meeting, that took place at the Dr. José Mauricio Loucel Campus of UTEC, El Salvador, was to seek synergies and identify the different challenges and best practices. The following topics were addressed:

• 5The role of the partner: level of involvement and ownership of the project
• The process of the Grant Agreement: negotiation, contents
• Internal and external visibility of the project

Representatives of 6 CBHE projects implemented in El Salvador, attended the meeting. Institutions such as the Ministry of Education, UTEC, UES, Universidad Don Bosco, Universidad Evángelica, Universidad Centroamericana José Simón Cañas and other Higher Education Institutions shared their experience in the implementation and management of projects under the Eramus + programme.
