The Digital Humanist project have recently received a very good score in the final evaluation from The National Agency in Italy. The evaluation was very positive, achieving an overall score of 94 out of 100. The reviewers praised the approach of the project, how it was built into a curriculum and the various training contents developed. They also appreciated the innovative approach to the platforms used to deliver the training contents.

The way the project handled the "Covid19 problem" was considered an example, showing in the working group compactness and resilience, qualities that made it possible to achieve the project objectives.

This week Daniel Tejerina, UA researcher, participated in the Final Board Meeting for the approval of the Project Work presented by 5 students enrolled in CUDIMHA Master at the University of Molise. The commission partially online and partially on campus was composed of lecturers from the various partner universities.

The Master’s Programme in “Communication and valorisation of the Mediterranean cultural heritage” developed within the project was launched online on November, 9^th 2020. Due to pandemic outbreak the classes of the 1^st semester took place online and once the situation allowed students were able to gather in presence and follow the teaching via online platform.

OPEN Consortium organised the 2^nd OPEN Online Training throughout the months of June and July. Representatives from the 5 Laotian Higher Education institutions of the OPEN consortium and the Ministry of Education gather together to take part in these meetings. They worked on successive theoretical and practical sessions of training, scheduled during the whole month on to instruct and guide them through the process of formulating their Internationalisation Strategic Plans.

ACCESS consortium held its VII coordination virtual meeting on 22nd July 2021. Participants had the opportunity to examine the work undertaken during the last 6 months, working exclusively on remote basis from the beginning of 2021. The virtual gathering was attended by delegates from Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Greece and Spain,  representing all the 13 Higher Education Institutions and  3 national Ministries of Education which take part in the ACCESS project

Over the last year and a half, the Higher Education sector over the world has been seen affected by the current pandemic crisis. The HEIs were forced to reinvent themselves in order to keep up with the expected quality levels of teaching and performance. Cambodian Institutions, partners of the Erasmus+ CBHE project BALANCE are not the exception. Lately working remotely, using virtual communication platforms has become a reality and efficient alternative. To maintain the project running the consortium has been gathering online each 2 months to evaluate the progress of the activities, share experiences and doubts, overcome obstacles and mitigate any delay. During the last Virtual meeting, held on June, 17^th, 2021, the University of Alicante updated partners on the advances made within the definition of the indicators for the communication platform and their work with the MoEYS as well as a progress made with the White paper drafting after collecting questionnaires from KH HEIs. The 1^st version to be presented during the next on-line meeting.

The China Intellectual Property Management Network (CIPnet) Final Conference was virtually hosted on 24-25 June 2021 by the Intellectual Property School of East China University of Political Science and Law (ECUPL), China. Presentations were delivered both by the CIPnet project partners and invited guests and structured into the following panel sessions:

The 24^th June, the Final Conference included presentations on: the China Intellectual Property Management Network aims and achievements, structure and activities, and was followed by the conference “Managing IP at Universities. These were followed by presentations on the WIPO Project and Activities in the Field of IP Management, IP KEY and EUCIPAN project’ activities and the China IP SME Helpdesk initiative, and some training on “What Makes It Easier to Obtain a Patent? Professional Quality of Patent Agent”, “Technology Cooperation under the EU-China Comprehensive Agreement on Investment”, and the “The Challenge of Patent Law: From Patent Sharing to Technology Sharing”.

Today, Wednesday June 16th, 2021, the ANTENA project - Internationalization of Higher Education at the Philippines Network  held the III Online Conference entitled International Accreditation, an event organized by the University of Alicante in coordination with EFMD. The conference was given by Dr. Christophe Terrasse, Director EFMD International Projects, with his extensive experience in the subject offered to all participants a substantial “Menu” of knowledge.

More than 100 participants from Costa Rica, Cuba and the Dominican Republic took part in the 3rd Online Training of the ACCESS Project, organized on May 26 and 31, 2021. The workshop was given by the University of Macedonia (Greece), combining face-to-face methodology via virtual meeting and reflections in groups through autonomous work in guided practices on scientific and informative material previously prepared in emotional intelligence applied to students with disabilities and the application of the social model of disability within the educational environment. These trainings are especially aimed at the members of the support centers for students with disabilities, academic professionals and key service personnel of the partner Higher Education Institutions as well as representatives from the Ministries of Higher Education of the ACCESS consortium member countries. They are main stakeholders of Higher Education system who should become driving forces behind the construction of a more inclusive and open university space for all in the Higher Education Institutions of Costa Rica, Cuba and the Dominican Republic, and in general throughout the whole Latin America

The University of Alicante delivered an online training on Social Impact Assessment within the framework of the MORALE project from 18^th to 20^th May 2021. Representatives from 7 Lebanese and Syrian Higher Education Institutions together with more 50 NGO professionals from the region were taught by Dr. Guadalupe Ortiz, Senior Lecturer of the Sociology Department from the University of Alicante. The participants were provided with an in-depth understanding of the core concepts and methodological steps of the Social Impact Assessment discipline and reflected upon its implementation on NGO actions measured according to social impacts within their own contexts. The MORALE project is part of the Capacity Building Higher Education initiative, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union in Lebanon and Syria. It aims at improving NGO capacities by collaborating with Higher Education providers in the region and is coordinated by the Beirut Arab University.

The University the Alicante participated in the Erasmus+ INNOVA project virtual Kick Off Meeting from 3^rd to 5^th March 2021. Led by the Coordinator, the University San Francisco Xavier de Chuquisaca from Sucre (Bolivia), all INNOVA consortium members partaken with representatives from  universities from Bolivia, Paraguay, Ireland and Spain.  The Ministries of Education from Bolivia and Paraguay also joined the meeting. The main goal of this meeting was officially launching the project INNO VA project, introduce partners to each other and agree upon the strategy to implement first project actions.                                         

The virtual meeting compromised 3 days of agenda in which INNOVA project was presented to partners as well as the different participant institutions. It was followed by an in-dept discussion on the strategies to organise activities across the diverse Workpackages of the project, focusing particularly on the initial articulation of the Needs Analysis, dissemination and quality control interventions. Finally, partners debated the organizational structure of the INNOVA project together with the administrative and financial schemes to enable project actions.
