Modernizing UNIversity GOVernance and Management in Libya

The project aims to reinforce ongoing governance reforms and prepare the Libyan public higher education sector and institutions for enhanced institutional and financial autonomy, through modernizing the financial management capacities of Libyan HEIs. UNIGOV aims at building institutional and organisational capacities of the partner HEIs with regards to efficient resource planning cost controlling, and information systems to support management decisions and cost control, process management, fundraising, and diversification of income sources.
UNIGOV endeavours to reach its targets through a set of tailored activities, implemented by a consortium of 6 public and 1 private HEIs, with active participation of the Ministry of Higher Education.
