Overall Objective: To enhance the relevance of Higher Education in the LA countries in promoting gender equality and contributing towards increased women’s visibility and participation in science, academia and in the workforce in order to generate positive economic effects by improving the use and integration of female talents in national economies in a long term.
Specific Objectives: * To modernize University Management for the promotion of gender equality in education and employment through the establishment of gender equality support structures, policies and training programmes; * To strengthen Universities’ networking capacities through the creation of a Regional Network for Latin American Women in Leadership as a sustainable platform to support gender equity efforts and promote women’s interests in science, academia & labour market.
