DIVE

DIVE (Digital Immersion of Vietnamese higher Education) is a 3-year project that supports a group of Vietnamese HEIs to develop high quality Digital Education, as part of the modernisation of Higher Education promoted by the government. In particular, the project aspires to foster the readiness of HEIs in Vietnam on their path to digital transformation (general objective). In order to achieve its general objective and answer the identified needs, DIVE will pursue to accomplish its specific objectives: SO1. To raise the capacity of the Vietnamese partner HEIs for digital transformation SO2. To accompany their digital evolution at strategic level SO3. To enhance awareness building, networking, and the development of digital culture in Vietnamese higher education In close cooperation with 3 European universities and 1 international network of higher education, 11 Vietnamese universities all over the country will (i) strengthen their capacities, through trainings and study tours involving all actors of the institution (senior and mid-level management, support staff and faculty,) (ii) develop their strategic plans for DE and (iii) implement them with the support of dedicated DE centres in each institution. A national network of Digital Education Pioneers (a key element in terms of impact and sustainability) will welcome and accompany other Vietnamese institutions willing to modernise their courses and programmes, will establish a Community of Practice, share best
practice, and provide training materials. At national level, a series of three national round tables will build awareness on the contribution of DE to the modernisation of higher education and stimulate a debate on crucial transversal topics. It paves the way for replication in other Vietnamese HEIs.
