The CIPnet project will be implemented in China as a Joint action and its general objective is promoting
the modernisation and harmonisation of Intellectual Property Management practices in the higher
education system, with a view to enhance university-industry collaborations and contribute to economic
and social development. The project specific objective is the establishment of a National Higher Education Intellectual Property Management Network (CIPnet) as a learning platform to foster modernisation, harmonisation and strategic planning of IP management practices and regional integration in Higher Education of China.
