Grant Holders' Meeting of newly selected Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) projects

On 27-28^th of January 2020, the International Project Management Office (OGPI) of the University of Alicante took part in the Grant Holders' Meeting organised in Brussels by the European Commission Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency.  This two-day event dedicated to the representatives of CBHE projects selected in 2019 under the Call for proposals EAC/A03/2018 aimed to address in detail issues related to the implementation of the CBHE project, the operational management of the grant agreement and the financial rules applicable to the CBHE grant.

The UA was invited as a coordinator of the two international projects OPEN and ACCESS, recently co-financed by the Erasmus+ Programme.

The OPEN project aims at increasing the academic quality and research activities of universities in the PDR of Laos through the development of internationalisation capacities. Olga Bloshchinska (Project Manager) represented the OPEN project took part in the Asian Regional Workshop.

The ACCESS project aim is to improve accessibility, ensure learning conditions and foster policy change towards inclusion for students with disabilities within the context of Higher Education in Costa Rica, Cuba and the Dominican Republic via modern inclusion practices, training and networking. Noelia López del Castillo (Senior Project Manager) represented the ACCESS project on the meeting and took part in Regional Latin America & Caribbean Workshop.
