These days, the 6th and 7th of March, the Kick of meeting of Erasmus+ project FREE NETWORK Fostering REsearch-based Entrepreneurship and the development of spin-off companies in Central America has taking place in the University of Alicante. The project, coordinated by the University of Alicante, involves partner universities from all the countries in Central America (Panamá, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Guatemala, Costa Rica and Honduras) as well as two EU universities from Italy and United Kingdom.

The Kick off meeting is combined with a study visit to the University of Alicante on 8th and 9th March to exchange good practices and innovative ideas on the development and management of spin-off support units.

The FREE NETWORK project is aiming at improving business opportunities for research-based entrepreneurs, promoting spin-off services in Higher Education Institutions and strengthening the innovation ecosystem in Central America.
